Apart from the obvious self-promoting purpose (I am a freelance consultant after all...), the main purpose of this humble blog is to bring together some of experiences that I have accumulated in my career and a System Integration professional, and which I believe are still relevant in today's technology landscape.
Conversely, comments from professionals (hopefully) reading my posts will enrich me and let me learn more.
Talking of different topics related to Systems Integration, I will strive to keep a balanced, vendor neutral approach whenever possible.
Still, any design need to be translated into the terms of some specific tool (e.g., an ESB, or an API Gateway) in order to to be implemented.
For this reason some articles related to vendor specific technology will also appear in the blog, and will be clearly marked as such. The presence of such articles will not imply that I endorse any particular vendor, in the same way as the EIP book used examples from commercial EAI products.
